Personal injury or death can result from grease and oil coming out of the relief valve.Grease and oil are under high pressure coming out of the relief valve and can penetrate the body.Do not watch the relief valve to see if grease is escaping. Watch the track or track adjustment cylinder to see if the track is being loosened. Make sure the vent holes are clean before the tension is released on the track.

Note: Adjust tool (B) so that the height is approximately 108 cm (42.5 inch). Adjust tool (C) so that the height is approximately 72.4 cm (28.5 inch).
Put tool (A) at the rear of the machine.
Start the machine and move the machine to the rear and up on tool (A) .
Put tool (C) in position under the bevel gear case. Note: The weight of the rear of the machine will not be on tool (C) until the front of the machine is lifted with tool (A) .
Put tool (A) in position in front of the machine.
Slowly move the machine up on tool (A). The rear of the machine will come down on tool (C) as the front of the machine goes up.
Lift the front of the machine so that tool (B) can be installed under the radiator guard and the main frame of the machine.
Remove tool (A) that is underneath the tracks at the rear of the machine. Move both tracks to the rear so that tool (A) is free at the front of the machine.

Fill the hydraulic track adjuster with grease so that the track makes contact with the track rollers.
Do not tighten the track too tight. The seals in the track adjusting mechanism will be damaged.
If necessary, remove the guards.

Remove four bolts (1) .

Open relief valve (2) to one turn counterclockwise in order to loosen the tension on the track.
In order to remove only the rear track roller, install tool (D) on the inside of the track. The base of the hydraulic jack must be against the final drive case. Move the track away from the rear track roller with tool (D) so that the track roller can be removed.
Put tool (E) under the rear track roller.
Fasten a hoist to tool (E) .
Remove the track roller from the track. The weight of the track roller is 59 kg (130 lb).
Remove any other track roller from the machine by using Steps 9 through 12.
