3. Put identification marks on the two wires connected to switch assembly (7). Disconnect the two wires, and remove switch assembly (7) from the fuel filter base.4. Remove turbocharger oil supply tube assembly (9) from the engine.5. Remove connector (6) from the clip on starter (5).6. Put identification marks on wires (1), (2), (3) and (8), and disconnect them from starter (5).7. Use two persons to remove the starter. Remove three bolts (4), starter (5) and the gasket from the machine. The weight of the starter is 36 Kg (79 lb). The following steps are for installation of the electric starting motor.8. Put the gasket and starter (5) in position on the flywheel housing, and install three bolts (4).9. Connect wires (1), (2), (3) and (8) to starter (5). Tighten the large terminal nuts to a torque of 27 to 33 N m (20 to 25 lb ft). Tighten the small terminal nuts to a torque of 3.5 to 4.5 N m (31 to 40 lb in).10. Install connector (6) in the clip on starter (5).11. Install turbocharger oil supply tube assembly (9) on the engine.12. Install switch assembly (7) on the fuel filter base, and connect the two wires to it.13. Install the guard assembly on the right side of the engine.14. Connect the battery cables to the batteries.
