If the track was adjusted with clean sprocket teeth-readjust the track if packing is present in the sprocket tooth area.See TRACK-ADJUSTMENT in EVERY 250 SERVICE HOURS or MONTHLY. Tracks should be adjusted under the same conditions in which the machine will be used. If packing conditions prevail on the job, the tracks should be adjusted with packing present.(32)Fuses And Circuit Breakers
1. Replace the fuse if the element is broken. Reset circuit breakers if necessary.2. If fuses require frequent replacement, or circuit breakers require frequent resetting. Consult your Caterpillar dealer.(33)Seat Belt
Seat belt must be replaced every 3 years regardless of appearance.
Inspect the seat belt and mounting hardware.Replace any damaged components.(34)Cooling System Relief Cap
Always inspect cooling system with engine stopped.Remove filler cap slowly to relieve pressure. Steam can cause personal injury.Inhibitor contains alkali, avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
Clean or replace the relief cap when the cooling system does not maintain pressure or loss of coolant is experienced.

1. Open the cover and remove the filter elements. 2. Clean the elements by using pressure air or by tapping the element on a smooth object.3. Install the element.Recirculating Filter
1. Remove the filter element.2. Clean the element with pressure air or wash the element in warm water and a non-sudsing household detergent. Rinse it in clean water and air dry thoroughly. Install the element.(36)Battery Terminals
