This Guideline enables dealers and their customers to benefit from cost reductions made possible through an established parts reusability and salvage program. Summary
The following pages contain visual examples of dealer manufactured products used to improve efficiency of specialization shops. These stands are currently being used by dealers to clean and inspect engines.
Caterpillar does not recommend any one design, but each design should be compatible with the methods and cleaning equipment available at the dealership.
Note: Inspect engine stands, lifting devices, and all other related equipment for damage and repair per manufacturer?s recommendations before use.
