Power Module: PM3516 (S/N: BPD1132-1156,1160-1177,1179-1197,1200-1202)Introduction
The problem that is identified below does have a known permanent solution, however parts are currently being sourced. Until the new parts are available, use the solution that is identified below. The Power Modules that are affected are listed in Table 1.

Certain 3516 Power Modules were built with 279-0117 Water Lines Gp . These aftercooler water lines were improperly designed. The radiator supply and return lines for the aftercooler circuit were reversed, such that the flow through the engine is also reversed.Solution
As a temporary corrective action, operate these Power Modules at or below output power levels shown in illustrations 1 and 2.Operating the Power Modules at power levels in excess of those shown in the chart below, could cause the engine to overheat and derate and/or shut down.
