Information:
1. Remove the bolts, and install two 3/8" - 16 NC forcing screws to remove adapter assembly (1) from the front drive housing. 2. Remove bolts (2), and pull adapter assembly (3) and the gears from the front drive housing as a unit. The weight of the unit is 23 kg (50 lb). The following steps are for installation of the oil and water pump drive. 3. Make sure the O-ring seals are installed on the grooves of adapter assembly (3), and put clean engine oil on the seals.4. Put the gears and adapter assembly (3) in position as a unit. Make sure the drive gear is engaged correctly with the idler gear, and tighten the bolts to hold adapter assembly (3) in position. 5. Make sure the O-ring seal is installed in the groove of adapter assembly (1), and put clean engine oil on it.6. Put adapter assembly (1) in position, and install the bolts to hold it to the front drive housing.End By:a. install oil pumpb. install water pump
