Illustration 2. Seals added around the upper hinge corners.... The spot-welded nuts on the roof for lifting the ROPS cab have been replaced with welded bosses to reduce water leakage.
... The front and bottom edges of the door frame have been changed from a four-piece tube assembly to a one-piece tube. RTV sealant is added between the door frame tube and the plate to which it is skip-welded. See Illustration 3.
Illustration 3. Improvements to the cab doors.... Improved filler seals with a longer lip are used on the sliding glass windows. Black frames around the glass are used. See Illustration 4.
Illustration 4. New filler seal used on the sliding glass windows.... The new seals for the windows can be added to earlier tractors as shown in Illustration 1. Cut the bulk 5P6605 Seal to the lengths shown. If all the windows are to be resealed, about 21 meters (69.0 ft) are required. Apply 3S6252 Sealant (RTV) to both sides of the glass and panel as shown in view M-M.

... The lifting nuts on the ROPS roof should NOT be removed and replaced with the threaded bosses. If there are leaks around these nuts, apply 3S6252 Sealant.
Do not reweld these nuts, or remove them and weld on the new bosses. Welding on the ROPS roof in these areas could weaken the structural integrity of the roof.
... The new door frame tube is not adaptable. But, the 3S6252 Sealant can be added as shown in Illustration 3 to reduce the entry of water and/or dust at the joints in the former four-piece frame tube.
... The new filler seal can be installed on the sliding window as shown in Illustration 4.
