1. Remove six bolts (3) that hold bracket (2) to brake guard (1). Remove bolts (4) that hold bracket to axle frame. Remove brake guard and bracket. 2. Disconnect brake line (5).3. Install a 1/2"-13 NC forged eyebolt in the brake and fasten a hoist.4. Remove bolts (6). Remove brake. Weight of the brake is 37 kg (82 lb).Install Wheel Brakes
1. Fasten a hoist and put the brake (1) in position on disc (2).2. Install the bolts that hold the brake to the axle housing. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 305.1 33.9 N m (225 25 lb ft).3. Connect the brake line to the brake. 4. Install brake guard (3). Install brake guard bracket (4) and six bolts (5) that hold it to brake guard.5. Install the six bolts (6) that hold brake guard and bracket to the axle housing. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 305.1 33.9 N m (225 25 lb ft)6. Let the air out of the brake system. Start By:a. remove wheel brakes 1. Loosen bolts (1) pull pin (2) out and remove brake linings (3).2. Remove caps that hold two of the pistons in brake. 3. Remove four pistons (4) and boots (5) from the brake. 4. Remove seals from the piston bores (6) in the brake.5. Remove O-ring seals from the caps (7).Assemble Wheel Brakes
1. Install new seals in the four pistons bores of the brake. 2. Install boots (1) in the piston bores with the lip of the boot in the groove of the bore.3. Install the four pistons in the bores of the brake through boots (1). Put the lip of the boot (1) in position in the groove in the pistons (2). 4. Install a new O-ring seal on caps (3). Install the caps. 5. Install the brake linings (6) and pin (5). Tighten bolt (4).End By:a. install wheel brakes
