Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Remove four bolts (1), the washers, and the spacers.
Remove guard (2) .

Loosen clamp (4) .
Remove precleaner (3) and rubber seal (5) .

Open access door (6) .
Remove radiator cap (7) .
Disconnect overflow hose (8) .
Remove two bolts (9) and the washers.

Remove bolts (10) and the washers.
Remove left side baffle (12) .

Open access door (13) .
Remove bolts (14) and the washers.
Remove right side baffle (15) .

Loosen clamp (18) .
Disconnect hose assembly (17) .
Pull the hose assembly through grommet (16) .

Remove bolt (19), the washer, and the clip.

Remove four bolts (20), the washers, and the spacers.
Use two persons in order to remove rear hood panel (21). The weight of rear hood panel (21) is 323 kg (70 lb).

Remove four bolts (23) and the washers.
Remove handhold (22) .

Remove two bolts (25), and the washers.

Carefully slide firewall (27) toward the front of the machine in order to remove front hood panel (26) .
Remove four bolts (28) and the washers.
Use two persons in order to remove front hood panel (26). The weight of front hood panel (26) is 28 kg (60 lb).
