The Statically Regulated Controlled Rectifier (SRCR) generator uses a method of excitation controlled by an automatic voltage regulation system that has no parts that move. The voltage build-up system has one relay.The generator is made with the armature coils wound on stator (L4) and the field coils are wound on revolving field (L3).
