A machine without the dust ejector system is shown.When you install studs (1), care is needed in order to ensure that the studs do not come into contact with the body of the muffler assembly. This can cause cracking due to vibration.

The protruding length (A) of studs (1) should be 25.4 mm (1 inch).Check that studs (1) do not come into contact with base (2) of the muffler assembly behind the flange. If the studs are in contact with the base of the muffler assembly, remove each stud and check that the overall length of the stud is correct. Dimension (B) must be 40 mm (1.57 inch). If the length of the stud is incorrect, replace the stud with the correct 6F-7012 Stud.

Check that the correct end of the stud was installed into the flange. End (D) that has a shorter length of thread must be installed into the flange.
