Backup alarm relay (1)Backup alarm relay (1) works with the reverse switch and the backup alarm.Pull-up resistor (3) is connected to the hydraulic filter bypass switch. The resistor is rated at 2 kilo-ohms.Control fuse (4) provides power to the following components:

Fault audible alarm
Neutral relay number-one (6)Machine fuse (5) provides power to the neutral start switch.Neutral relay number-one (6), brake relay number-two (7), and brake relay number-one (8) work with the parking brake switch. Interaction between these relays prevents release of the parking brake when the brake is engaged and the propulsion lever is out of the NEUTRAL position.

Rear of Machine
(9) Backup alarmBackup alarm (9) is mounted above the cooling package at the rear of the machine. The engine compartment cover provides access to the backup alarm.The backup alarm relay controls the power supply to backup alarm (9). When the propulsion lever is in the reverse range, the reverse switch is closed. In this case, the backup alarm relay is energized and the backup alarm sounds.

Right Side of Machine
(10) Propulsion interlock solenoidPropulsion interlock solenoid (10) is on the right side of the machine. The engine compartment cover provides limited access to the solenoid.The parking brake switch controls propulsion interlock solenoid (10). When the parking brake is engaged, this solenoid is not energized. When the parking brake is released, the interlock solenoid is energized.When propulsion interlock solenoid (10) is energized, charge oil is available at the propulsion pump control valves and the piston cavity of the parking brakes. When the solenoid is not energized, charge oil to the pump control valves and the parking brake is blocked. The control valves and parking brake piston cavities are vented to tank. Under these conditions, the hydrostatic drive loop is disabled, and the parking brake is engaged.

(11) Shift solenoidShift solenoid (11) is on the left side of the machine under the operator platform. A side cover plate must be removed to gain access to the solenoid.The shift switch controls shift solenoid (10). When the shift switch is in the LOW position, the solenoid is not energized. When the shift switch is in the HIGH position, the shift solenoid is energized.
