Setting the Autolube Pump Motor Speed
The autolube pump motor is equipped with a built-in speed control. The autolube pump motor speed is set to the maximum setting at the factory. Follow the steps below in order to adjust the speed setting.
Find the speed adjustment screw on the autolube pump motor. The speed adjustment screw is located under a cover screw which is 120° away from the power wires on the autolube pump motor.

White plastic seal washer
Turn the cover screw counterclockwise with a Phillips screwdriver in order to remove the cover screw. There is a white plastic seal washer on the cover screw. Take care not to lose this seal washer.

Flat tipped screwdriver
Note the slotted brass adjustment screw accepts a flat tipped screwdriver with a tip width of 2.54 mm (0.10 inch) and a tip thickness of 0.635 mm (0.025 inch).

Turn the speed adjustment screw counterclockwise in order to reduce the motor speed. Turn the speed adjustment screw clockwise in order to increase the motor speed. The screw has no stops. The screw has a total travel of 15 turns. The minimum motor speed is 170 RPM.Note: The adjustment can be done while the pump is not running. The adjustment can be done while the pump is running. It is possible to monitor the pump outlet while the autolube pump motor speed is adjusted. Detach the outlet line in order to monitor the pump outlet. Purge pressure from the outlet line before detaching the outlet line.
When the adjustment is complete, use the Phillips screwdriver in order to reinstall the cover screw. This screw is sealed with a white plastic washer. Make sure that this plastic washer is in place before tightening the cover screw.
