A 1P-1861 Retaining Ring Pliers 1 Start By:
Remove the generator motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Motor (Hydraulic Generator) - Remove". Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.Note: This component is being disassembled and displayed for CLEANING PURPOSES ONLY. Many internal parts are not available for this component. Care must be taken during disassembly and assembly in order to prevent damage to unavailable parts.

Remove woodruff key (7) from shaft assembly (8).
Remove bolts (17) and remove cover (16) from body (4).
Remove carrier (9), shaft assembly (8), and shaft assembly (14) from body (4). Remove seal (15) from carrier (9).
Remove body (4) and carrier (2) from flange (12). Remove dowels (5), seal (3), and seal (6) from body (4). Remove seal (1) from carrier (2).
Use Tooling (A) and remove retaining ring (10) from flange (12). Remove lip seal (11) from flange (12).
Remove check valve (13) from cover (16). Remove the O-ring seals from check valve (13).
