Removal Procedure
Personal injury can result from grease under high pressure.The adjuster cylinder for the track is under high hydraulic pressure. Grease under high pressure can cause injury. Do not visually inspect the adjuster to see if grease is released when the valve is opened. Check the rod to see that it moves to the rear into the front support on the track roller frame.
If you are removing a track carrier roller on the right side of the machine, engage the counterweight lock lever. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Counterweight Lock Lever".
Loosen the track. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track - Check/Adjust".

Attach a suitable lifting device to the track. Raise the track enough in order to allow sufficient clearance to remove track carrier roller (1). Position suitable cribbing in order to support the track.

Remove bolts (2). Use two people in order to remove track carrier roller (1). The weight of track carrier roller (1) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb). Installation Procedure

Use two people in order to position track carrier roller (1). The weight of track carrier roller (1) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb). Install bolts (2).

Attach a suitable lifting device to the track. Raise the track enough in order to remove the suitable cribbing. Use the suitable lifting device in order to lower the track onto track carrier roller (1).
Adjust the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track - Check/Adjust".
If you are installing a track carrier roller on the right side of the machine, disengage the counterweight lock lever. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Counterweight Lock Lever".
