Start By:a. remove hood If the bulldozer blade is installed on the machine, disconnect the bulldozer lift cylinders from the trunnion of the bulldozer blade. Make sure the rods of the bulldozer lift cylinders are retracted. If the bulldozer blade is installed on the machine, both door assemblies on the front of the radiator guard can not be opened after the radiator guard is tilted. Remove both door assemblies before the radiator guard is tilted. Weight of each door assembly is 91 Kg (203 lb.). 1. Remove the coolant from the engine radiator. Capacity is 208 liter (55 U.S. Gal.). See the Maintenance Guide.2. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist to front plate (1). Remove bolts (2) and remove front plate (1). Do the same for the other plate. 3. Disconnect fitting (3). Loosen hose clamps (4) and remove hose (5) from the upper radiator elbow. 4. Loosen hose clamps (7) and slide hose (6) back toward the engine. 5. Disconnect air conditioning lines (8) from both the radiator and engine. 6. Remove bolts (10) and plates (9) that hold radiator guard to the engine side guards. 7. Fasten tooling (B) and a hoist to the radiator guard. 8. Install tooling (C) as shown, and pull the pins on each side of the radiator guard. 9. Tilt the radiator guard forward. Install tool (D) and the pins that were removed earlier to hold radiator guard (11) in place. For tilting the radiator backward, reverse the procedures of Steps 1 through 9.End By: a. install hood
