Illustration 1 g06207489The 193-2200 Lip Type Seal or 133-4292 Lip Type Seal on the transmission output shaft may fail and experience oil leaks on the machines listed above. This leakage may cause product damage and reduce service life of components.The 193-2200 Lip Type Seal is used on 120M/12M/140M/160M Series Motor Graders and 133-4292 Lip Type Seal is used on 14M/16M/18M Series Motor Graders.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and recommending to follow the below interim repair solution.

1 364-3731 Yoke As In the event of failure, replace with the same part number.If oil leaks occur with either of 193-2200 Lip Type Seal or 133-4292 Lip Type Seal, perform the below Steps.
Place a mark on the lip seal at the 12 O-Clock position before removal the park brake cover.
Document the leak with pictures.
Attempt to minimize damage to the seal during removal and attempt to remove in a non-leaking area.
Replace the seal and yoke assembly. Retain failed parts and check Send It Back for an open Parts Return Request. Provide the work order number and dealer code for a Send It Back (SIB) request. Report this information to Dealer Technical Communicator (TC) along with this TIBU number and CPI385526.
Request Dealer TC to provide any feedback regarding this issue to Caterpillar by completing a CPI Feedback Form at Service Information Management System (SIMSi). The link to SIMSi can be found on SIS web.
Provide the machine application, that is (Construction, mining, snow plowing, and so on)
Attach pictures of the leak.
