1 1 112-1579 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore of the O-ring seal lightly with glycerine or an approved equivalent.
2 1 153-1256 Lip Type Seal Do not install the lip type seal by hand. Use the installation tool and a press to install the lip type seal. Make sure that the primary lip is towards the water pump drive gear. Press the lip type seal until the lip type seal is flush into the counterbore.
3 1 0S-1591 Bolt Torque to 39 3 N m (29 2 lb ft).
4 1 349-2654 Water Pump Seal Use the installation tool to install the seal group. Press the seal group onto the shaft until the stationary cup of the seal group is fully seated in the pump housing.
