To prevent damage to the differential, do not engage the differential lock control at high speeds.Do not turn machine with differential lock engaged.Do not engage the differential lock control while one wheel is spinning. Decrease engine rpm until the wheel stops spinning. Anticipate using the differential lock before wheel slippage occurs.In areas of high resistance, it may be necessary to turn the machine slightly in order to aid in unlocking the differential lock. Decreasing the engine rpm may also be helpful.

The differential lock control (switch) is located on the right side of the steering console.
Locked - Push the bottom of the switch in order to lock the differential. When the bottom of the switch is pushed, an indicator light will illuminate on the front dash. The differential lock will help to prevent wheel slippage. Use the differential lock when you grade on soft ground or wet ground. Engage the differential lock only when the wheels are not slipping.
Unlocked - Push the top of the switch in order to unlock the differential.
