Remove 460-6437 Cover As (10) and disconnect wiring harness (11), wiring harness (12), and wiring harness (if equipped) (13) from the back of the C-Frame tower. Retain mounting hardware.

Weld bosses (8) to plate (10). Refer to Illustration 2 for the position of bosses (8).
Paint bosses (8).

Connect wiring harness (11), wiring harness (12), wiring harness (if equipped) (13), and install plate (10) to the back of the C-Frame tower.

Install one washer (6), stud-bolt (1), spacer (9), and washer (5) in each of bosses (8).

Install cover (4) with washers (5) and nuts (2).Note: Only perform this Step on machines that are not equipped with 3D Cat Grade Control Bulldozer arrangement.
