2. Remove upper radiator hose (1).3. Remove bolts (3) that hold fan guard assemblies (2) in place. Remove fan guard assemblies (2). 4. Remove the bolts that hold shield (4) to the radiator. Pull shield (4) toward the engine.5. Loosen the bolts that hold the alternator in place. Push the alternator toward the engine to release tension on the fan belt. 6. Remove bolts (6) that hold the fan and pulley to the water pump. Remove fan (5) and the pulley from the water pump. The following steps are for installing the fan and pulley.7. Put the pulley and fan (5) in place on the water pump. Install the bolts that hold the pulley and fan to the water pump.8. Put the fan belt for the alternator in position on the pulleys.9. Install shield (4).10. Make an adjustment to the fan belt. See the topic, Belt Tension Chart in the Specifications Service Manual. Tighten the bolts that hold the alternator in place.11. Put fan guard assemblies (2) in place and install bolts (3).12. Install upper radiator hose (1).13. Fill the cooling system with coolant. See the Maintenance Guide.End By:a. install hood
