Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install the O-ring seals on the front housing and the engine oil pump. Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals.
Install Tooling (C) in the front housing.
Attach a suitable lifting device to engine oil pump (4). The weight of engine oil pump (4) is approximately 104 kg (230 lb).
Align the gears that are on the engine oil pump with the gears that are in the front housing. Install engine oil pump (4) on Tooling (C) .
Install the bolts that hold the engine oil pump in place.Note: Lightly lubricate the flange bore with engine oil.
Install flange (2). Place spacer (1) in position. Install the bolts that hold flange (2) and spacer (1) to engine oil pump (4) .
The oil pump must have an external oil supply to the bearings before the pump is run. Lubricate the pump with oil. The pump must rotate freely by hand.
Fill the engine oil pump with clean engine oil.
Install a new O-ring seal in tee (3) and install the bolts that hold tee (3) to engine oil pump (4) .
