CID 3333 Medium Range Object Detection Sensor #5 Power Supply
CID 3334 Medium Range Object Detection Sensor #6 Power Supply
CID 3336 Medium Range Object Detection Sensor #8 Power Supply    Expected Result:None of the diagnostic codes that are listed in Table 1 are active. Results:
YES - None of the diagnostic codes that are listed in the table are active. Proceed to Test Step 2.
NO - Multiple diagnostic codes that are listed in the table are active. Proceed to Test Step 3.Test Step 2. CHECK THE POWER TO THE BOTTOM LEFT MEDIUM RANGE OBJECT DETECTION SENSOR
The disconnect switch and the key start switch remain in the ON position.
Take the following measurement at the connector for the bottom left medium range object detection sensor. Use the 7X-1710 Multimeter Probe in order to measure the voltage between contact 4 (C569-YL) and contact 1 (C234-BK).Expected Result:The voltage measurement is 12 3 VDC.Results:
YES - The voltage measurement is 12 3 VDC.Repair: The bottom left medium range object detection sensor may have failed. Try to reset the power to the Object Detection System by turning the key start switch and the disconnect switch to the OFF position and then turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position. If the diagnostic code is still active, replace the sensor.STOP
NO - The voltage measurement is less than 9 VDC. Proceed to Test Step 3.Test Step 3. CHECK THE OBJECT DETECTION SYSTEM HARNESS FOR SHORT TO +BATTERY
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the 4-pin connector from the 12/24 volt power converter.
Take the following measurement at the 4-pin connector of the Object Detection System harness for the 12/24 volt power converter. Measure the resistance between contact 3 (C569-YL) and contact 1 (C234-BK).Expected Result:The resistance measurement is greater than 5000 ohms. Results:
YES - The resistance measurement is greater than 5000 ohms.Repair: The harness is correct. The 12/24 volt power converter has failed. Replace the 12/24 volt power converter.STOP
NO - The resistance measurement is less than 5 ohms.Repair: The output circuit in the harness is shorted to the +battery circuit. Repair the harness or replace the harness.STOP
