Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use Tool (A) to install cylinder liner (3) .
Press cylinder liner (3) into the cylinder block (6) within 0.3 to 0.5 mm (0.012 to 0.020 inch) of the top of the cylinder block. Then make the cylinder liner (3) flush with the top of the cylinder block.
Bore the cylinder liner and hone the cylinder liner to 102.017 0.017 mm (4.02 0.0007 inch).
Refinish the rest of the cylinder liners to the same size.Note: For more information on the assembly specifications for the cylinder liner, refer to Specifications Module, "Cylinder block".End By:
Install the crankshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft - Install".
Install the pistons and connecting rods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston and Connecting Rods - Install".
Install the cylinder head. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cylinder Head - Install".
