Stop machine immediately if LOW AIR PRESSURE LIGHT goes on or electric horn sounds. There may be a malfunction of the braking system.Do not use emergency brake as a parking brake. Complete loss of air pressure will cause the brake to release.
1. Pull EMERGENCY BRAKE BUTTON if service brakes fail to stop the machine. Emergency brakes will apply automatically if air pressure drops to 30 psi (205 kPa).2. Set parking brake when machine stops. Gauges
Monitor all gauges and warning lights frequently during operation. Stop machine and investigate improper readings.Stop operation and stop engine immediately if loss of engine oil pressure occurs, LOW COOLANT FLOW LIGHT goes on, or air horn sounds. Correct malfunction before attempting to start the engine. If converter and retarder temperature indicates in red range, stop machine and operate engine at high idle to allow oil to cool. If cooling system temperature indicates in red range, stop machine and check for coolant leaks. Operate engine at high idle with no load, if no leak is found. Stop engine if coolant is leaking.
