Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove screws (2) and plate assembly (1).

Remove nut (3) and wheel assembly (4).

Remove screws (5) and lower cover assembly (6).

Disconnect harness assembly (7).

Remove woodruff key (9). Remove screws (8) and cover assembly (10).

Remove steering control assembly (11).Installation Procedure
Install steering control assembly (11) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten screws (8) and (5) to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of nut (3).
Tighten nut (3) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).
Tighten screws (2) to a torque of 1.7 0.4 N m (15.0 3.5 lb in).
