Which Generate This Code:The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects all of the following conditions:
The ECM reads an open circuit to the injection actuation pressure control valve (IAPCV).
Desired current is greater than 0.2 Amps.
The ECM has been powered for at least three seconds.
Battery voltage is greater than 9.0 VDC for two seconds.
The engine is not cranking.System Response:The ECM will log the diagnostic code. The diagnostic code may be viewed on a display module or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET). The current to the IAPCV defaults to 0.0 Amps after 150 milliseconds. The ECM attempts to communicate with the IAPCV at intervals of 120 milliseconds.
