PELJ1183 ?2010 Caterpillar CAT REMAN ANNOUNCES THE ADDITION OF A HIGHER HP 3412E LONG BLOCK TO SUPPORT CHIPPER AND OTHER INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION
Product Introduction
A 3412E Long Block (10R-9607) has been released for the C & D rating (900-1000hp) Industrial engines. Some dealers had been purchasing and modifying a 0R9360 which was not designed for the higher horsepower. The 10R9607 is now available and can provide a very economical repair/overhaul option for many 3412E-powered grinders.
All 3412 Long Block options are displayed in the chart on the following page with the corresponding part number consist detailed information. The "3408 and 3412 Long Blocks" Technical Supplement SELD0191 includes general information to consider when selecting a Long Block to service a particular engine application.
