Use Tooling (D) in order to install the crankshaft rear seal and the wear sleeve with the following procedure.

Place the seal locator in position on the crankshaft and install the three bolts that hold the seal locator in place.
Apply clean engine oil on the lip of the crankshaft rear seal and on the outside diameter of the wear sleeve.
Install the crankshaft rear seal on the side of the wear sleeve with the bevel. Ensure that the lip of the crankshaft rear seal is toward the inside of the engine. The side of the wear sleeve with the bevel should be toward the outside of the engine.
Use Tooling (E) in order to clean the outside diameter of the crankshaft flange and the inside diameter of the wear sleeve.
Apply Tooling (F) on the outside diameter of the crankshaft flange and the inside diameter of the wear sleeve. Note: Ensure that the lip of the seal is toward the inside of the engine. The outside diameter of the wear sleeve should be toward the outside of the engine.
Place wear sleeve (2) with crankshaft rear seal (1) on the locator. Place the installer on the locator and install the nut. Apply lubrication to the face of the washer and the nut.
Tighten the nut until the installer comes in contact with the locator.
Remove Tooling (D) and check the wear sleeve and the crankshaft rear seal for correct installation. End By:
