PROBLEM
Certain 1R0755 High Efficiency Fuel Filters having a date code of MKUNNN, MOUNNN, and MDUNNN (October 27, 28, and 29, 2000) may cause a problem with the flow of fuel to the engine. These filters should be removed from dealer part stock and from customer's locations. Applicable engines should be inspected and filters should be removed and replaced as required.
ACTION REQUIRED
Remove all 1R0755 High Efficiency Fuel Filters with date codes of MKUNNN, MOUNNN, and MDUNNN (October 27, 28, and 29, 2000) from part stock.
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all 1R0755 High Efficiency Fuel Filters removed from parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
All dealers are to make sure the outside of the shipping container is marked PI70017.
