This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI31352" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI31352" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the 20Sep2007 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Service Claims Allowance, Parts Needed, and Action Required.

PROBLEM
The injector sleeve o-rings need to be replaced on certain C9 MTB On-Highway truck engines. The existing o-rings can fail and cause fuel to enter the coolant system.

Follow Special Instruction REHS3798 for proper installation of injector sleeve o-rings.
Injector o-rings need to be replaced when the injector is removed to perform sleeve o-ring replacement. Reference SEBD6792 for correct orientation of injector o-rings.
