Illustration 1. 5P4721 Tube and Fittings. Note direction of the fitting sleeves.Special care is needed in the assembly of this tool. To install the fittings on the tube, use the procedure that follows:
1. Assemble the nut and sleeve on the tube. Install the tube into the fitting and hold it in position until the nut is tightened.2. During the first assembly of a new tube, tighten the nut only until the edge of the nut is even with the base of the threads on the fitting. Do not tighten beyond this point. (Illustration 2.)
