Information:
Battery Disconnect Switch
The battery disconnect switch is located near the battery compartment, at the front, right side of the machine. ON - Insert the key, and turn it clockwise to activate the electrical system. The switch must be on before starting the engine. OFF - Turn the key counterclockwise to shut off the entire electrical system. The disconnect switch serves a different function than the start switch. When turned off, the disconnect switch disables the entire electrical system. When only the start switch is turned off, the battery remains connected to the electrical system.Turn the disconnect switch off and remove the key when servicing the machine. Or, if parking for an extended period of a month or longer, to prevent battery drain by short circuits, current draw made by some of the components, or by vandalism.
Never turn the disconnect key to OFF with the engine running. Electrical system damage could result.
Engine Start Switch
OFF (1) - Insert and remove the start switch key from the OFF position only. Turn the switch key to OFF to stop the engine. ON (2) - Turn the switch key clockwise to ON to activate all circuits in the operator's compartment. STARt (3) - Turn the switch key clockwise to START to crank the engine. Release the key after engine starts and key returns to ON.Indicators
Rotor Oil Temperature (1) - Lights when the rotor oil temperature is too high. If this indicator comes on, stop the machine immediately. Stop the engine and investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.Rotor Axle Ratio Indicators
Indicator (1) lights when rotor lever (4) is in HIGH speed.Indicator (2) lights when rotor lever (4) is in LOW speed. The rotor speed pattern is the same as propel speed pattern (3). The dark figures indicate the axle speed ratio and the light figures indicate the transmission speed.Rotor Door Position Indicator
This indicator shows the position of the rotor door.Brake System Pressure
When indicator (1) is lit, the brake system air pressure is low. Gauge (2) indicates the brake system air pressure.Gauges
Tachometer (1) - Indicates the engine rpm in hundreds. Service Hour Meter (2) - Indicates the number of hours the machine has run. It should be used to determine service hour maintenance intervals. Engine Coolant Temperature (1) - Indicates the engine coolant temperature. The green range indicates normal temperature. Engine Oil Pressure (2) - Indicates the engine oil pressure. The green range indicates normal pressure. A lower pressure is normal at low idling speeds. If the pointer in the gauge indicates the oil pressure is in the red range, stop the machine immediately. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected. Ammeter (3) - Indicates the rate at which the battery is charging or discharging. Fuel Level (4) - Indicates the level of the diesel fuel in the tank.FPM Or MPM Gauge (If Equipped)
The FPM gauge will read out the propel speed in feet per minute. The MPM gauge will read out the propel speed in
