Introduction
This special instruction contains the information that is required to replace the lift cylinder loader linkage pins on 992G Wheel Loaders. The grease pins can be replaced with new sleeve bearing cartridge pins. These new components will improve the service life of the loader linkage pins.Required Parts

Remove the lift cylinders. Remove the grease pins and bearings. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR5893, "992G Wheel Loader Machine Systems ", "Lift Cylinder - Remove and Install".
Machine the left bore of the front frame and boom to 230 0.05 mm (9.05510 0.00197 inch).
Machine the right bore of the front frame and boom to 230.9 0.05 mm (9.09053 0.00197 inch). Note: When you are machining the bores, ensure the proper alignment of the Y-pin bore and the K-pin bore. Failure to maintain the proper alignment will result in premature failure of the pin.
Install the lift cylinders. Use the sleeve bearing cartridge pins with the installation of the lift cylinders. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR9767, "992K Wheel Loader Machine Systems ", "Lift Cylinder - Remove and Install".
