Procedure For Installation Of Sensor Wiring Group
1. Park the machine, stop the engine, and turn off the main key switch.2. Refer to the 8E-7943 Sensor Wiring Group in the parts book to identify the components that are removed prior to testing.3. Disconnect the 104-9258 Solenoid Assembly from the 5Y-1410 Harness Assembly (remove the 3T-3048 Clip Assemblies as required).
(1) Starter Motor. (2) 105-8827 Suppressor Group. (3) Starter Solenoid.4. Connect the 105-8827 Suppressor Group as indicated in the Illustration.5. Turn on the main key switch. Observe if the solenoid clicks when the transmission control lever is shifted in third, fourth, and fifth gears. Repeat this procedure several times, then turn off the main key switch.6. Install the new 3T-3048 Clip Assemblies.
