CHANNEL AS 1425045 - Caterpillar

1. Remove 12 bolts (1), the 12 spacers, and the two baffles from the tandem drive housing. 2. Remove 12 bolts (3), the 12 locknuts, the washers, and two tube assemblies (2) from two bracket assemblies (4). 3. Position Tooling (A), and a suitable lifting device on fender assembly (5) as shown. Remove ten bolts (6), the washers, and fender assembly (5) from the tandem drive housing. The weight of the fender and support is 214 Kg (471 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the fender and support.4. Make sure all components of the fender and support are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation.5. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary.6. Using Tooling (A), and a suitable lifting device, install fender assembly (5) as shown. Install ten bolts (6) and the washers to the tandem drive housing. The weight of the fender and support is 214 Kg (471 lb). 7. Install two tube assemblies (2), 12 bolts (3), the 12 locknuts, and the washers to two bracket assemblies (4). 8. Install the two baffles, the 12 spacers, and 12 bolts (1) to the tandem drive housing.
