(6) "OFF/RESET, LOCAL, and REMOTE" switch
(7) "ENGINE SPEED" switch
(8) "MECHANICAL GOVERNOR SPEED CONTROL" switch "AIR START PRESSURE" gauge (1) - This gauge indicates the pressure of the air supply for the starting motor."FUEL ON/OFF" switch (2) - This switch controls the fuel to the engine. To supply fuel to the engine, turn the switch to the "ON" position. To shut off fuel to the engine, turn the switch to the "OFF" position. This is the normal procedure for stopping the engine. The "OFF" position may also be used in order to engage the starting motors for rotating the crankshaft without starting the engine."ENGINE PRELUBE/START" switch (3) - Turn the switch to the "PRELUBE" position in order to activate the prelube pump prior to starting. The starting motors will not engage if the engine is not prelubed. The "ENGINE OIL PRELUBE" indicator will illuminate when sufficient oil pressure is achieved. The engine can be started when the "ENGINE OIL PRELUBE" indicator is illuminated. To start the engine, turn the switch to the "START" position. The starting motors will engage and the engine will crank. The starting motors will disengage after the engine reaches 170 rpm. The spring-loaded switch will move to the middle position after the switch is released. This is the normal position for the switch during engine operation."ENGINE OIL PRELUBE" indicator (4) - This indicator illuminates when the engine is prelubed and ready to start. The indicator is extinguished when the engine is running."EMERGENCY STOP" button (5) - The emergency stop button is in the OUT position for normal engine operation. Press the button for an emergency stop. This shuts off the fuel supply and the inlet air to the engine. The button will lock in position. Do not use the button for normal stopping. Before restarting the engine, correct the condition that made the emergency stop necessary. The engine will not start when the button is locked. To reset the button, turn the button clockwise. The control panel and the air shutoff must also be reset before the engine can be started."OFF/RESET, LOCAL, and REMOTE" switch (6) - Turn the switch to the "OFF/RESET" position in order to reset the control panel after a shutdown. Do not use this switch for normal stopping. The engine will not start when the switch is
