Before removing wheel assemblies, remove the pressure from the brake system by making several brake applications with the foot brakes until brake pressure gauge shows zero pressure.
1. Use a lift truck or hoist to support the wheel assembly or tire.2. Remove the outer bearing cone.3. Remove the wheel assembly. The weights of the respective wheel assemblies or tire and wheel assemblies are:824 Tractor - 2700 lb. (1225 kg)825 Compactor - 6100 lb. (2600 kg)834 Tractor - 3900 lb. (1770 kg)835 Compactor - 8900 lb. (4000 kg) Install Wheel Assemblies
1. Put the wheel assembly in position on the spindle housing.CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the Duo-Cone seals when installing the wheel assemblies.2. Install a block under the tire or wheel assembly to keep it in position during installation.3. Install the outer bearing cone (1).end by:a) install final drive ring gears and hubs
