Remove the left and right rear wheels.

Position Tooling (A) under transmission guard (1). Remove the bolts and use Tooling (A) to remove transmission guard (1).

Remove bolts (2) and position drive shaft (3) out of the way.

Disconnect hose assembly (4).

Disconnect tube assembly (5).Note: Be sure to cap tube assembly (5).

Disconnect tube assembly (6).Note: Be sure to cap tube assembly (6).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to oscillating rear axle (7) (not shown). The weight of oscillating rear axle (7) is approximately 1229 kg (2710 lb).

Remove bolts (8).

Remove bolts (9).
Repeat Steps 7 and 8 for the opposite side of the machine.

Use Tooling (B) and the suitable lifting device to lower rear oscillating axle (7) far enough to gain access to hose assembly (10). Disconnect hose assembly (10).

Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device to lower rear oscillating axle (7) onto Tooling (C). Remove the suitable lifting device from rear oscillating axle (7). Use Tooling (C) to move rear oscillating axle (7) from under the machine.Installation Procedure
Install rear oscillating axle (7) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (2) in an “X” pattern to a torque of 71 10 N m (52 7 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 74 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 74 lb ft).
