Install Tooling (A) on cowling assembly (1). Fasten a suitable lifting device and a hoist to Tooling (A), as shown.

Put identification marks on 3 wire harnesses (2) prior to removal for installation purposes. Disconnect 3 wire harnesses (2) at the electrical connections.

Disconnect wire harness (3) for the service indicator at the electrical connection.

Remove six bolts (4) and the washers from plate assembly (5). Open cover (6) and remove the hex nut from disconnect switch (7) .

Remove 20 bolts (8) and the washers from cowling assembly (1). Remove cowling assembly (1). The weight of cowling assembly (1) is 280 kg (617 lb).Installation Procedure

Install Tooling (A) on cowling assembly (1). Fasten a suitable lifting device and a hoist to Tooling (A). Position cowling assembly (1) on the frame assembly, as shown. The weight of cowling assembly (1) is 280 kg (617 lb).

Install 20 bolts (8) and the washers to cowling assembly (1) .

Open cover (6) and install the hex nut on disconnect switch (7). Install six bolts (4) and the washers on plate assembly (5) .

Connect wire harness (3) for the service indicator at the electrical connection.

Connect 3 wire harnesses (2) at the electrical connections.End By: Install the front hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood (Front) - Remove and Install".
