Pressurized oil flows out of the auxiliary pump and into the offset valve (4). The offset valve (4) contains components that perform several functions. The relief valve (5) limits the pressure in the offset valve (4) and cylinder (8). When the adjustable relief pressure is reached, the relief valve (5) limits oil pressure by diverting flow to the charge oil filter (10) . The regulator (9) controls the oil flow rate to cylinder (8) with an adjustable orifice. The regulator (9) diverts excess oil flow to the charge oil filter (10). The control (6) is a three-position solenoid valve. Springs in the control (6) center the valve in a closed position. When a solenoid is activated, the control (6) causes oil to flow to the offset cylinder (8). The check valves (7) hydraulically lock the cylinder (8) when the control (6) is not activated.From the offset valve (4), oil flows to the charge oil filter (10). The oil filter (10) delivers clean oil to the charge oil lines (11). If an obstruction in the filter (10) causes a pressure drop of 340 kPa (50 psi), a relief valve will send unfiltered oil directly to the tank (3).
