(2) 311-8150 Track Nut Adaptable To: The new 318-2559 Track Bolt or 318-2558 Track Bolt replaces the former 216-4025 Track Bolt or 143-4891 Track Bolt. The new 311-8150 Track Nut replaces the former 9W-4381 Track Nut. The new track bolt and the new track nut are adaptable to all the machines that are listed.Procedure for Tightening the Track Bolt
To ensure that the track bolt is properly tightened, follow the procedure that is outlined below.
Remove all paint, rust, scale, and debris from the mating faces of the track shoe and the track link assembly.
Lubricate the threads and the washer face of track bolt (1) with 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound or 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound .
Tighten track bolt (1) to a torque of 500 70 N m (370 50 lb ft) plus an additional 120 degrees.
