M3 pressure tap (3) that is used to measure the pressure from the medium pressure/cab riser circuit is located on the front of the medium pressure/cab riser control valve. Step safety switch (4) disables the cab riser if the access door is open.

Oil flows from the pilot pump to the steering priority valve. Oil then flows through the brake valve into the pilot manifold. Pressure reducing valve (5), which is set at a lower pressure than pilot relief valve (12), opens in order to allow flow to the pilot circuit. Plug (15) isolates the pilot circuit from the pilot relief valve. Plug (15) is used on machines that are equipped with the medium pressure function or the hydraulic cab riser.Oil that is not used by the pilot circuit flows through pilot relief valve (12) to the medium pressure/cab riser control valve. Maximum pressure for the medium pressure/cab riser control valve is limited by the attachment relief valve (11). Maximum flow is controlled by the adjustable orifice.In the HOLD position, oil flows across the open centered control spools for the hydraulic cab riser (14) and for the medium pressure function (13) .CAB RAISE Position
