Introduction
The Payload Control System (PCS) is an electronic system that will provide an accurate weight of the material that is loaded by a wheel loader. Using the PCS will ensure correct weights and using the PCS will reduce the risk of overloading a truck.The PCS will interface with a personal computer. The computer must have the following:
Windows compatibility
VIMSpc softwareVIMSpc software must be installed in order to have the capability to analyze productivity.This Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8092-01 is intended as a guide for the operator to the basic functions of the PCS. Read this manual completely before using the PCS.

Payload Control SystemSystem Components
The PCS consists of the following components:
ECM
Display
Lift arm position sensor
Head end pressure sensor
Reweigh/clear/zero switch
Store switch
Optional rod end pressure sensor
Electrical harnessThe system can be interfaced with the following:
Personal computer
Optional printer
VIMSTM software, VIMSpc
Connecting cableOptional Printer
An optional printer may be used with the PCS. The kit for the printer contains all the necessary items that are required in order to install the optional printer. For more information about the installation, the operation, and the troubleshooting of the printer, see Special Instruction, REHS4453.The printer gives PCS the capability to print the following:
Truck tickets
Material reports
Truck reportsTruck Tickets
Truck tickets display the following:
Truck weight
Weight of each loader pass
Time and date
Current material ID
Truck IDMaterial Reports
Material reports display the following:
Cumulative weight for each type of materialTruck Reports
The Truck reports will display information for each truck cycle that is stored. The display of the truck reports contains the following:
Weight
Count of the loader pass
Material ID
