Cushion-Hitch
Actuation of the cushion-hitch or steering control can cause movement in the hitch area, reducing clearances suddenly.Personal injury or death can result from hitch movement if a person is in the hitch area.
The cushion-hitch switch is located on the right front control panel in the cab. Cushion-Hitch - Move the switch to the top position for cushion ride. Move the switch to the bottom position to lock the cushion-hitch down. Use this lock down position for loading and dumping of material. The cushion-hitch control switch should be in the cushion ride at all times, except when loading or dumping for a smooth spread. This allows for faster working cycle times.Bowl Control Lever
Bowl Lower (1) - Push the lever away from the operator to lower the bowl slowly. The lever will return to HOLD when released. The bowl can be lowered with the engine stopped by moving the bowl control lever to the BOWL LOWER position and allowing the bowl to travel to ground. Bowl Hold (2) - The lever will return to HOLD when released from either LOWER or RAISE. The bowl will remain in the position it is in. Bowl Raise (3) - Pull the lever toward the operator to raise the bowl. The lever will return to HOLD when released.Ejector Control Lever
Ejector Return Detent (1) - Push the lever away from the operator (completely) and release. The lever will remain in the detent position and the ejector will move completely back. When the ejector is completely back the lever will be released and return to the HOLD position. Ejector Return (2) - Push the lever away from the operator (partially) to move the ejector back. Release the lever and the ejector will remain in the position it is in. The lever will return to HOLD when released. Ejector Hold (3) - The lever will return to HOLD when released from either RETURN or FORWARD. The ejector will remain in the position it is in. Ejector Forward (4) - Pull the lever towards the operator to move the ejector forward. Release the lever and the ejector will remain in the position it is in. The lever will return to HOLD when released.
Do not move the ejector forward with the bowl loaded and the elevator stopped. Elevator damage can result if the ejector is moved forward with the elevator stopped.
Elevator Control Lever
Reverse (1) - Pull the lever to the left and push the lever away from the operator to operate the elevator in the reverse direction. The further the lever is pushed the faster the elevator speed. Release the lever and the lever will remain in this position until it is moved. Stop (2) - Pull the lever to the left and move the lever to the center position to stop the elevator. Release the lever and the lever will remain in this position until it is moved. Forward (3) - Pull the lever to the left and pull the lever toward the operator to operate the elevator
