Do not use an auxiliary override with this work tool. The work tool can be fully powered even if the arm bar is raised and the operator has exited the cab.Severe injury or death could occur.Do not exit the cab until the work tool and the host machine have been shutdown and the parking brake is engaged.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
If the obstruction is not removable by operating the work tool in the REVERSE direction, refer to the following procedures for removing obstructions:Note: It is necessary to release the hydraulic system pressure of the host machine before you connect or before you disconnect the hydraulic lines of the work tool to the machine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the host machine for the proper procedure in order to release the hydraulic system pressure of the host machine.Procedure To Remove Obstructions For A-Series Machines
Note: It is necessary to release the hydraulic system pressure of the host machine before you connect or before you disconnect the hydraulic lines of the work tool to the machine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the host machine for details.
Fully release the hydraulic system pressure from the work tool. Release the hydraulic system pressure with the following procedures:
Start the engine and run the engine for at least 15 seconds in order to recharge the accumulator.
Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position.
Do not raise the armrest.
Immediately, turn the engine start switch to the ON position. Disengage the parking brake.
Move both of the joystick controls through all of the operating positions in order to release the hydraulic pressure in the work tool system and the hydrostatic system.
Press each side of the auxiliary hydraulic control switch (A1) and (A2) for three seconds. Press each side of the auxiliary hydraulic control switch (C1) and (C2) for three seconds. Keep the joystick control in the NEUTRAL position while you press the auxiliary hydraulic control switches.
Press the bottom of the auxiliary electrical control switch in order to supply electrical power to the work tool.
Press each side of the auxiliary hydraulic control switch (C1) and (C2) for three seconds. Press each side of the auxiliary hydraulic control switch (A1) and (A2) for three seconds.
Press the top of the auxiliary electrical control switch in order to discontinue electrical power to the work tool.
Engage the parking brake.
Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released.
Raise the armrest and exit
