Install gear (22). Install retainer plate (21). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 28 7 N m (248 62 lb in).

Use two people to install planetary gear (20). Install plate (19). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 28 7 N m (248 62 lb in).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to propulsion module (17). The weight of propulsion module (17) is approximately 1279 kg (2819 lb).
Slowly lower propulsion module (17) onto the output gear housing.
Install bolts (18) and tighten to a torque of 240 40 N m (177 30 lb ft).

Lower the temperature of bearing (16) and install.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to cover (15). The weight of cover (15) is approximately 45 kg (99 lb).
Install cover (15).Note: Do not damage terminal connections during the installation of the cover. Damage to the terminal connections could cause propulsion module failure.

Install bolts (14) and tighten to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).

Install adaptor (13). Install bolts (12) and tighten to a torque of 28 7 N m (248 62 lb in).

Install plate (11). Install bolts (10) and tighten to a torque of 12 3 N m (106 27 lb in).

Install cover (9). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 28 7 N m (248 62 lb in).

Install covers (5). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
