Personal injury or death can result from machine tipping or sudden machine movement. Take extra precautions when crossing side hills, ridges, logs and ditches.
Do not pick up a load or back up with a load when the grapple is at maximum rotation (rotate stops are in contact). Severe damage to the grapple will occur.
Make sure that the area around the logs is clear of personnel before you begin decking.

When you are decking logs in the loading area, straddle the first load and drop the second load on the top of the first load. When the pile is too high, drag the logs to the far side of the pile. Do not drag the logs to the near side of the pile.You can build bigger piles by dragging logs to both sides. Approach the pile from the opposite side on alternate trips.

Approach the logs near the midpoint. The decking blade should be slightly above ground level when the blade contacts the logs, as shown.

Push the logs against the deck and raise the logs with the decking blade as the machine moves slowly.
Make sure that all of the logs are secure on the deck and back up.
When the decking blade is clear of the deck, move the blade to the travel height.
