Service Brake Control - The service brake control (pedal) is located on the floor of the operator's compartment.The pedal controls the power assisted service brakes. Depress the pedal in order to engage the service brakes. Release the pedal in order to disengage the service brakes.The service brake pedal operates the power assisted brakes in the conventional manner. As the brakes are applied the transmission is proportionally disengaged. This allows the machine to be inched forward with the engine at full RPM in order to achieve maximum performance of the boom. Alternatively, this allows the machine to be held stationary with the engine at full RPM in order to achieve maximum performance of the boom.The rear brake lights will turn on when the brake pedal is applied. If the rear brake lights are not functioning, repair the brake lights. Repair the brake lights before operating the machine.
