Thoroughly clean the surface of trunnion ball (18). Remove any paint and debris. Do not apply grease to the trunnion ball.

Place the C-frame onto suitable cribbing in a horizontal position.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to angling blade (6). The weight of angling blade (6) is approximately 1070 kg (2360 lb).
Move trunnion bearing (17) to trunnion ball (18) on the C-frame.
Mount trunnion bearing (17) onto trunnion ball (18).

Install the upper split ring (15). Install four washers and bolts (16) in split ring (15). Install the lower split ring (15). Install four washers and bolts (16) in split ring (15). Full torque is not required at this time. When you are installing the split ring, ensure that there is an even gap (K) between each split ring (15) and bearing (17).
Measure dimension (K) between the surface of the trunnion bearing and the split ring.
Remove eight washers and bolts (16) . Remove both split rings (15).
Use an appropriate lifting device to back off the blade (6) so that the trunnion bearing (17) is no longer mounted on the trunnion ball (18).

Apply Tooling (B) to the inside of trunnion bearing (17). Apply Tooling (B) to both interior surfaces of two-piece split ring (19).

Install shims (14). Add one shim more than dimension (K). (See Step 7 and Illustration 14). Install the upper split ring (15) with four washers and bolts (16). Do not tighten at this time.
Lift the blade with an appropriate lifting device. Move trunnion bearing (17) to trunnion ball (18) on the C-frame.Note: If necessary, further loosen one bolt or more to maneuver the trunnion bearing onto the trunnion ball. Adjust the tightness of bolts (16), as needed. If necessary, remove the two outer bolts to facilitate the mounting of the trunnion bearing.
Mount trunnion bearing (17) onto trunnion ball (18).

Install shims (14). Add one shim more than dimension (K). (See Step 8 and Illustration 14.) Install the lower split ring (15) with four washers and bolts (16).Note: Only tighten bolts (16) hand tight at this time.
Test for proper shimming by manually moving the blade assembly. The blade should move without difficulty, binding, or play
Grease fitting (19). After the fitting has been greased install protector on fitting (19).

(M) Nominal position - 58 degree cutting edge in the middle position
(N) Retracted position - 56 degree cutting edge
(P) Extended position - 62 degree cutting edge
Position the link assembly (13) on the blade.
Install pin (11), and two spacers (20) to connect the link assembly.
Install retainer, three washers, and the bolt to secure pin (11).
Place blocks under the corners of the blade. Disconnect the hoist from the blade.
Lower the blade onto the blocks.

Connect the tilt cylinder to the blade using two spacers (9), pin (7) and bushings (8).

Attach a suitable lifting device to angle cylinder (bulldozer) (5). The weight of angle cylinder (bulldozer) (5) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Reposition angle cylinder (bulldozer) (5). Install pin (2), retainer (3) the spacers,
